Did not meet my expectations
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a beautiful and simple design, however, my Thermos brand coffee carafe from 1986 keeps coffee hot considerably longer than the Ikea carafe. My current Thermos carafe (from 1986) is beat up on the outside, but still does a better job than any carafe I have tried in the last couple of year. Its appearance is the only reason I wanted to replace it. You would think that capabilities of products now would exceed former products, but not so. Sorry!
