Great Pocket Cam
Like most Canon products, this is a a winner.
PROS: Compact, light, and easy to use.
Easily fits in jeans pocket. Picture quality is very good for such a small camera. Runs on easily available AA batteries. (Get re-chargeables; much cheaper long term)
An optional underwater housing is available for snorkeling.
A big plus in my book is this was one of the last Point & Shoot cameras to have an optical viewfinder. This helps frame a shot in the bright sun as the digital display can be hard to see on digital cams. It can also be an aid for those of us that wear eye glasses; and some of us older folks just grew up with viewfinders and prefer "anchoring" the camera to our face for added camera stability (not as much a factor these days with Image Stabilization (IS).)
CONS: Battery life could be better; not a problem with spare re-chargeables.
Summary: If you want/need a good pocket camera with a optical view finder,
this is a good choice. No longer in production, so don't wait too long!

Reasonably priced battery for Verizon Hotspot...
Proprietary battery works well for obsolete Pantech Mi-fi. Usually lasts about six months for me, but it's on 24/7 for my use.
