A tiny bit longer than stock.

They are a tiny bit longer than stock. You need to disconnect one side of the old ones (side attached to car) before installing the new ones. I attempted to do one side at a time so the hatch wouldn't come slamming down, but the hatch would not raise up high enough to connect the ball joint because the stock one on the opposite side was restricting the height.
