Lacking in quality
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought this lawnmower after some thinking, I remember this being listed at a lower price initially and then the price was increased. Delivery was in the expected time frame by Toll. There was a oil stain on the box probably from some other products in transit.
The lawnmower handles were easy to put on and assembled in no time, the catcher was also easy to put on. Very good feature is the long funnel neck for adding oil to engine, makes it easy without using other funnel and no spilling. Petrol was easy to pour and the tank holds a decent amount. Another great feature is there is no priming required to start as with my old mower. I was well and truly surprised when I pulled the cord to start and was expecting to give a few pulls, but the very first pull and the engine started without an effort! great. Have mowed my lawn and did do a decent job.
Now for the negative bits.. although there is a large handle to lower and raise the height the quality is real bad and it is flimsy making it hard to do it and I am worried it will either bend or break soon. Next, the hole for cut grass to go into catcher is too small and keeps clogging and having to pull the grass out with hands makes it unsafe.
