Book in excellent condition, great content for those interested in ACT
Great compilation of ACT principles and techniques, particularly in relation to big events/ losses, but also applicable to other difficult emotions and contexts. Easy to practice with clients. Concisely and clearly written. Book arrived in immaculate condition.

An Ok, easy to read book, in great condition, story is missing some depth
I really enjoyed reading it from the perspective of the therapist - you can really get a sense of his internal dialogue, thoughts, dilemmas and feelings. However, I would have preferred it if it dug even deeper into this internal dialogue - I felt at times this introspection was quickly dissipated by some action or dialogue between characters. So much so that it didn't really move me. I also found the continuous analysis of the relationship between the main characters nice, although I did feel the story line wasn't clear and the twist wasn't really needed at the end.
