Real Artwork in a Calendar
I have gotten various Lang calendars for years. I even have a wooden frame for them. All are beautiful but I like the Folk Art Calendars the best!

John Paul the Great ~ A Man in Love with God and with God's Children
Author, Peggy Noonan writes of a man she believes was truly what he appeared to be - a man in love with God and with God's children.
Noonan’s respect of Pope John Paul II is evident throughout. She introduces us to the world in which he lived, and the effect he had on that world. The reader is drawn in as she examines those who knew JPII intimately, as well as those who knew him only from their places in the crowd in Paul VI Audience hall or from their homes across the world reading his words and watching him travel the world on their televisions. Because Noonan weaves world events and her own observations seamlessly into JPII’s story, we get a real sense of knowing John Paul the Great over time.
Although Peggy Noonan does not present John Paul the Great as a completely flawless man, she presents him in an honest and thoughtful way and, in the end, makes it clear why he is on the sure road to sainthood.

WD's "My Book Essential" serves our family well!
Western Digital's "My Book Essential" is a safe backup for the files my family does not want to risk losing. I purchased a new 500GB My Book about three years ago and it has stood up to the test. Six (count 'em, SIX!) members of the family pass this drive around the house to back up our photos, documents, music, and user profiles. Even with the "not-so-gentle" handling of two teenage boys, this well-ventilated, external hard drive continues to operate flawlessly for us.
As delighted as I have been with the My Book Essential, please note that this is not a solid-state drive. Although it may not receive the gentlest of care in our home, we have never dropped it any great distance. However, it has slipped from a hand or two, fallen about a foot, and survived. (These were accidents – not part of any rigorous testing!)
One minor issue: This is a tall drive with rubber feet attached to one of its shorter edges. If bumped, it easily loses balance and falls to its side. A second set of rubber feet attached to one of the larger sides would allow it to rest securely on that side.
Because of my confidence in WD’s 500GB My Book Essential, I recently purchased a second “used” version on eBay. Although more than a year old, I believe this “pre-owned” version has years of hardworking life ahead.
