Reasonably decent value as replacement parts for those with this particular weather station.
1 of 1 found this helpful This weather station is an obsolete product. I ordered it basically to keep my existing weather station (same model) functioning. I cannot really recommend it because there seem to be current weather station models that are better values. The overall quality is good, except for the (difficult to replace) rechargeable AAA alkaline batteries in the wind sensor. The manufacturer (La Crosse) has not published any information on how to replace those batteries after they go bad. I broke my original wind sensor figuring out how to change them. In addition, I cannot locate the rechargeable AAA alkaline batteries it uses anywhere. So instead I used rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries, but I do not know how long the built-in solar charger will keep them alive.
