Great for doilies
I'm a crocheter who makes quite a few doilies etc, all of which need a stiffening agent to keep them in the finished state. For some reason it's impossible to get liquid or powdered starch in Australia (except the spray stuff which is less than useless) . I was very pleased to be able to get powdered starch even though I had to buy it from England, but found the price for the amount that I received pretty expensive. It does the job well without making it as stiff as it would be by using glue; so I'm happy.

Great little oven for those who have (or don't want to soil) a normal oven.
A very convenient way of baking or roasting if one doesn't have a large roast to cook or doesn't have an oven. It's easy to clean and does the job well. My only problem is cleaning the lid in such a way that no moisture gets into the element. Also, several items were included in the packaging that weren't included in the manual, so just guessing what they're used for. Not complaining however as I've found a use for them.

great source of crochet stitches and techniques.
I'm a very keen crocheter but there is always something else to learn and this book helps learn new stitches and techniques and does it in a way that is relatively easy to understand.
