  - Pecans hard thick skin. . some are squirrel grade , some are medium size. no-notice that squirrel-grade included. - 5% are rotten , 15 % are wrinkly [lastyears harvest] , 80% are fresh . . all this is an approximation. dont expect a good pecan everytime you crack into one. - the rottens ones have dark stain on them and easily identified. . - the wrinkly ones, just break into them , you will see WRINKLY . advertised as this year[2024] harvest but quality is 2023 harvest.
