I am a collector who has been fascinated by many areas over the years (ceramics, photography, African sculpture, and textiles to name but a few). Having retired, I am downsizing my library and some long-owned collectibles. I try to price fairly, offering books, for example, at prices below what is charged by other sellers on eBay or Abebooks. I similarly aim to be fair in my appraisal of condition, highlighting any evident flaws. My packaging is very careful. I am pleased to have maintained a 100% positive feedback rating with more than 280 sales on eBay

George Gently does it!
The Gently series is a modern detective drama looking back at Northern England in the early-1960s. It features dramatic stories, the standard elements of a police procedural, and a window into how much (and how little) social values have changed over the past two generations.

Great movie, awful DVD transfer :(
A GREAT movie. BUT I wish I had known that the 2001 DVD transfer is of infamously awful quality. This was evidently because the DVD technology was new at the time and Fox-Lorber rushed the DVD out without attention to quality. If you can afford it, go for the much more recent Criterion Collection edition.

Early film noir
An historical treat! Compelling story about a child murderer (Peter Lorre) and the combined forces that try to bring him to “justice”. The police are joined by the underworld in the hunt, because the murdererer is disrupting their activities.
