a good book and worth looking at
The book is good and interesting with some unique information. The political history of the Brazilian battleships was interesting and informative. The history of the Chilean and Argentinian ships is not as detailed.

French Battleship Danton
The model is very large (1/350) and will be an impressive piece when I have it finished. There are many small parts which are difficult to hold and put in place. Most of the parts fit pretty well, but some have a rather casual fit and must be filed to fit properly. Most Tamiya and Hasegawa kits have a level of fit that is superior to this one. Some modelers may experience frustration with the level of fit. I have many years of modeling experience and I think I can make it come out pretty well. I have not yet finished the model, so I have not taken any photos yet.
