Its a cover. Slightly heavy duty (good) Fits the griller perfectly. (also good) and the color is black.

Is it easy to use? Yes, you slip it on the griller.
Does it heat evenly? Answer: It's grill cover.

Good idea but....
The idea behind the product is a good one, but as for me, you need to get the masa just so, and your technique down. After using the product for a bit I was able to do an average job with spreading the masa, Other folks in my tamale group used a tortilla press with pretty good results too. I have to say, it is easier than using a spoon. I gave it an OK rating because I found the same product at HEB, in San Antonio, about half price of what I paid on Ebay.
