This is the best Recorder on the market!
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this particular DVD/VCR recorder because I record all the Prime Time shows I want to watch each night. I am not in the best of health. I used to settle in for an evening of Prime Time viewing only to awake and discover it was early in the AM and I had missed every single show. I bought several other DVD/VCR recorders only to discover they would not record every show I wanted to watch. Some sort of Chip to prevent illegal recording. Why those devices wouldn't record certain shows on the Animal Planet, BBC America, certain NBC, CBS, and Fox programs beamed over the airwaves mystified me, but that was the case. This particular Recorder records everything I program, including HBO, Showtime, and the Western Channel. I owned one of these for several years and have used it mercilessly. It still works as good as new, but I believe in being prepared. I bought this one as a back up. I may buy another one. My original Remote Control wore out (the "Enter" button stopped working) and I had to order a replacement ($36.00), otherwise the Recorder works as advertised. It does take a while to learn how to set it up and use it. Once you get that down however, it it easy to use.

Power packed and easy enough to use.
1 of 1 found this helpful The way it was ordered, paid for, then delivered was Outstanding. The Device itself was very well designed. It fits the hand well and the buttons are easy to use. I have large hands and have had trouble with button control with other remotes. Having used a Harmony 350 for years, the transition to the Logi 665 was very easy.
The problem for me was the programming and what to expect. I did as instructed, however I cannot get Volume and Function control on the DirecTV or DVD Recorder/Player at the same time. I have worked with Tech Control and their follow up directions do not get me the desired result. To change Volume when I am in DirecTV or DVD mode I must go back to TV, change the volume then switch back to the other Device. It is inconvienant, but not that difficult when I got used to it.
I do wish it would work.

The Magnavox TB100MW9 I was sent worked as advertised. It is a great product.
The Magnavox TB100MW9 arrived as advertised in a box sealed at the Factory. I plugged it in and hooked it up. After running a channel search, I tuned to a channel and it worked as advertised, I could not use the Remote Control from my old Magnavox TB110MW9 since the 100 did not have the same set up, but once I figures the new configuration for the 100 I found it did all the same things just in different key positions. That was when I noticed I had received a Magnavox TB100MW9 not the TB110MW9 I was told I had been sent. Never the less, the 100 works well and does everything the 110 did. If the 100 works for 20 plus years like my original 110 I will have no complaints. I really like Magnavox, they make great products that stand the test of time.
