Awesome Onkyo as always
2 of 2 found this helpful This is the 6th Onkyo receiver I've owned and they have all been great. Before owning Onkyos I had several others from Sherwood, Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood, Yamaha, and Realistic. Once I got my first Onkyo in the mid 80s I haven't looked back. Better sound and more features for less money, better performance and longevity, and user friendly in my experience. I haven't had any issues whatsoever with any of them and I'm looking forward to the same with this one. The only other brand I owned that I liked as much as the Onkyos was Realistic but the big box stores, online shopping, and longer lasting equipment put an end to my beloved Radio Shak stores.

Powerful deep bass and tough
I started with 1 and upgraded to a dual enclosure. I've had several high powered amps driving these subs and they've taken every abusive watt that I've thrown at them like champs. The first one is over 5 years old and I've pounded it with every type of bass that exists and have had them significantly over powered several times and still going strong every day. I currently have a 1500 watt RMS Orion amp pushing them hard and I always listen to bass heavy music of many genres. Very happy with these subs. I just wish they still made them. I've heard the road series and Excelon don't perform as well.

Not bad, better than I expected!
1 of 1 found this helpful I honestly wasn't expecting much out of a single 6.5" speaker, even from Klipsch. I am quite impressed and happy that I am. I've been wanting the dual 6.5"or dual 8" floor stranders to fill the gap between my 2 12"Klipsch subwoofers and the 5.25" drivers in the rest of my 5.2 Klipsch system but they are a little out of my price range at the moment. I've been looking at these 610s for awhile because I could afford them but have been skeptical as to whether a single 6.5"driver would be up to the task. I got sick of waiting for either a hugely discounted sale price or a pile of money to fall from the sky so I took the chance on these and I'm happy to say that they fit in very well and compliment my other speakers very nicely. I still want a pair of the 620 or 820s but will have to wait until I can afford those and a7. 2 receiver. If you're on the fence with these like I was, don't wait any longer, they are quite good and definitely with the money
