Great value, much more accurate than traditional level and plumb bob.
This is a very handy and far more accurate alternative to a spirit level and plumb bob. After setting up, it quickly levels itself and gives you perfect horizontal and vertical lines, and also a bright dot underneath that is directly below another spot on the ceiling, eliminating the need for a plumb bob. A traditional plumb bob is hard to set up with the correct length of string, takes a long time to settle, tends to swing in even the slightest breeze, and requires you to lie on your face to accurately locate the bottom point. This laser level allows for much more accurate work. Similarly, the traditional spirit level cannot provide a perfectly accurate horizontal line much beyond its actual length, as closely as you may attempt to read it. I needed to level a 15-foot wall, and the laser easily did it with perfect accuracy.
I have ordered two of these units, and highly recommend it to anyone wishing to do accurate work.
