Control chaos
Direct a 4 man squad of heavily armed superhumans and take control of the entire world one territory at a time. The graphics and sound are basic but serviceable. The depth in gameplay and choice of customization are what keep the experience fresh. Having only played the Jaguar version I can't speak for other versions. Many say it's cumbersome to not have a mouse for this type of game. Personally, I like holding a controller when I play a game, and the Jagaur numeric pad is put to good use in this game. If you take the little bit of extra time to learn the game's systems and interface I'm sure you'll enjoy Syndicate for the Atari Jaguar.

Pure shooting fun
Raiden on the Atari Jaguar is an accurate port of the arcade original. Simple, perfectly balanced gameplay makes for one of the best vertical scrolling shmups. While the features are completely bare-bones the fine tuned degree of difficulty provides substantial replay value. As long as you can survive, the 8 levels will repeat with ever increasing difficulty. This makes the pursuit of mastery and outdoing the top score virtually limitless. If you really want to appreciate this kind of game, play with minimum credits and go for proficiency.
