Lunch Box, great for so many reasons. x
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this for my sons birthday to give his first rc car experience. Something to get him off the PS4. It worked! And he is proud of it, because he built it and painted it himself. I can see the joy in his face when he uses it.
Bit of advice:- Best not to get the cheapest battery you can. I got a 5000 MNih bat, it takes a hour or so to charge and it lasts over half hour (hard play)..
We didn't swap the motor yet, the one it comes with is plenty fast enough for now. The suspension could do with oil shock upgrades but the standard suspension is good and fit for purpose.
One big thing the servo horn, buy the metal one for it. The one that comes is plastic, and a few knocks to the front wheels and it wares the teeth out. A metal servo horn is £5 or so...
We liked it so much, we have ordered the Lunch box mini (for indoor play), and my son is already saving for his next car. x Best present ever.
