Great Improvements!!
I owned the original Black 2GB Nano, which worked great and had an elegant design. But just like every other Nano owner, I hated how it would scratch so easily!! I bought the 2nd Gen Nano due to improved battery life (24hrs), scratch-resistant casing, brighter lcd screen, and (slightly) improved software. This Nano definitely delivers on Apple's promises and believe it or not, the aluminum casing will scratch before the screen does!! This design is much cleaner and durable. DON'T WORRY ABOUT PUTTING IT IN YOUR POCKET, IT WONT SCRATCH!!! The only problem with the 2nd Gen is that it won't fit many 1st Gen accessories and you will NEED to use iTunes to manage your music. PROS: Lower price, more durable exterior, about 24hrs of battery life, very slim, brighter screen. CONS: Won't fit many old nano accessories, need iTunes to load/manage music, no FM radio.

Great Launch Title!!
This is definitely one of the better launch titles for the PS3, boasting good graphics, gameplay, and fun. The online mode is also great, but don't expect winning any races until you become an expert. If you are debating between this and Need For Speed, consider the following: 1)In Ridge Racer, you are able to partially install the game onto the hard drive for faster loading times. 2)The driving physics are intentionally unrealistic, so you can go around corners at 190+ MPH!!! 3)The cars are imaginary, so no Ferraris or Porsches. For quick and easy fun, GET THIS GAME... DO NOT get this game if you want a driving simulator.

Exceeds all expectations!!
The PS3 is a great piece of machinery and most of us know it's general features: It includes Blu-Ray playback and boasts a 20gig or hefty 60gig hard drive. The controller is wireless and must be plugged into a rather short USB cable to be charged. Also, it can stand either vertically or horizontally, to fit almost any space. General features aside, here are pros and cons of the system: GENERAL PROS: 1) By far the cheapest Blu-Ray player on the market (Also supports DVDs). 2) Supports up to 1080p resolution TVs. 3) Hard drives can be swapped for any standard 2.5" laptop hard drive. 4) Can store/play your MP3s, photos, and MP4 movies. 5) Gathers album art when plying CDs and can rip them to the hard drive. 6) Great 3rd party support for games and Blu-Ray movies. 7) Can play your old PS1 and PS2 games. 8) Free online gaming & functional internet browser GENERAL CONS: 1) The high retail price may be too much for most gamers. 2) Much larger and heavier than the current Playstation 2. 3) Doesn't upscale DVDs to HD. 4) No rumble feature in controllers. 5) Attracts dust and fingerprints easily. 6) Included USB cable is way too short. 7) Internet browser is lackluster at best.
