Stout, reliable sights. A hot barrel won;t melt them either.

It's a UTG sight...nuff said. I've had a bunch of UTG sights and all of them put point of aim and point of impact at the same point, year after yeat. All metal, good quality and good price(although they are starting to go up a bit). I'd still rather have them than the most expensive tupperware plastic ones. I know they weigh more, but so does AR500 body armor over level IIIA. Now they are buis for red dots, but I find myself using them more often than I feel I should have to. Rain or mud covered or broken glass, dead batteries- red dots will never replace iron sights in my book. UTG sights have always been there when I needed them and always right on zero.

Front sight adjuster is perfect, a long overdue idea.

I normally put a 45 deg, 5slot mount, with a set of UTG flip up sights on so when they are folded nothing can catch and break them from the underside. No-one seems to carry the set I usually use, so I decided to go with these. I mounted them on my AR and set them to match my top sights. They have an awesome sight picture. Really quick to see if you have to flip the gun over and use them. The tool free front sight adjust wheel works perfectly, has good detents, and finer tuning than milspec 1/4 turn front sights. Time will tell if they will hold up, but that is why I chose the UTG set. I'm still using my flat top rear sight from them after 17 years and it still holds zero.
