Better than usual spring action shooter!
First impression was okay. The grip and the physical size is exactly like the real thing. For a spring powered BB pistol, this thing has some serious FPS. I would not use this pistol indoors. The sights are off and all you can do is adjust your aim. The magazine takes a bit of patience to line up the BB's but it holds a good amount. There was one jam. You have to rack the slide before every shot, so, a CO2 gun would probably be better. All in all, this is a decent BB pistol. Nice power and realistic feeel.

serious radio here
I am really impressed with this radio. I'm using it strictly as cross band repeat. I'd wanted a cross bander for up in the mountains and this baby does the job. I hit it with VHF and out on UHF. This gives me good penetration through and around mountains. I will eventually bring in a mobile radio to do x-band and use the 8000 as my primary HT.

Second Time Around
This is my second Ibanez Fiver and it replaces the one I had foolishly sold. True, this is the lower end of the Ibanez bass line, however, these basses perform Exceptionally! What I find so awesome about these bass guitars is the Tone. There is so much flexibility in tone options that you can dial up whatever you need or want. The pickups are Active and they sound extremely good through any amp or Direct. The next thing is the bridge. The bridge is massive enough to transfer string vibration to the body. I always play all electric guitars unplugged while evaluating them. This bass does a great job of sustain.
Next up is the low B string. With a set of roundwounds, the B string is nice and tight with no flop and is nice and clear through a decent amp. Other great features are the laminated neck, easy setup with a good truss rod. Very nice fret work. Solid feeling tuning machines and great controls for Neck and Bridge pickups and three band EG; Bass, Mid and Treble boost/cut with center detente'.
If you are in the market for an inexpensive five string bass, the Ibanez is the most no-brainer choice you could make. Excellent finish, very comfortable with no neck diving. It virtually plays itself and sounds awesome with no matter which style of bass you play.
