Perfect for adding additional drives to a 2U DL380G8. Be aware other items required in order to be utilized.

eReceived xactly as described, in good condition. A little dusty inside, but otherwise fine. Works perfectly. . This item does require additional hardware in order to be used in an HP DL380Gen8 2U server. It requires a PCIe HBA/RAID controller, controller to enclosure cables, optional cache module and supercapacitor for preserving cache in event of mains outage, enclosure power cable, and the mounting screws to secure the enclosure in the server chassis. This item is just the drive enclosure and backplane. If you have the other parts, but are missing the enclosure/backplane, this item is what you need.

Work exactly as they should

Disk drives are in very nice visible condition, no dust or grime, and were packaged very well in anti-ESD bags. I don' know about reliability, they haven't been running long enough to know for sure. Drives were well-erased, which is important for security of previous owners, and ready for formatting. They work great in my server - plug and play!
