Awesome, pricey but awesome for slow pitch
Awesome rod, very grunty and really does make slow pitch jigs come alive
its taken a bit to fully master the rod but it consistently outs fishes everyone else on the boat, Im mainly using 20lb braid with it and the sensitivity in the blank allows control of the jig way better than any of my other rods
love the grunt in the blank, and cant believe they managed to get such a ballsy blank to have the sensitivity this thing has, thumbs up Hamachi this is one hellva rod

Brilliant rods - Cast great - plenty of power
Ive got thsi and the XOS GT Doggie 8'2 80/130lb , The Doggie is in a class of its own
I sold my Carpenter and ripple fisher to get the Doggie and this one Im glad i did for 50lb work particularly with metal lures this ultra class is a killer for distance .
For all day popping the doggie is the way to go ultra light and mega power on big GT's and tuna man does it slay em!.
For when im out so a bottom bash and like to have a floater out the back or rod to cast at fish on teh way out the Ultra cast is my go to rod , its also near idiot proof for when i have newbies on teh boat popper fishing

Hamachi Zenku's rock! light weight mega strong!!!

I travel alot for fishing and I always have a Hamachi Zenku with me i love both this one 6'2 and the 7'0 .
5'2 is also great so many Zenku's to choose from and only pair of hands!
The 7' is great for being able to cast soft plastics down drift and get a perfect vertical jig by the time the boat gets there. For the straight vertical jig the 5'2 its also a killer pulling lures and livebaiting the stout length gives plenty of control over the fish. The 6'2 good allround -
Have caught big cobia , trevally , small dogtooth , big mackeral (30 to 50lb) lots of snapper , Barra with them
Get one, but be prepared to fall in love and want the rest of the Zenku range!
