DIN to A CLAMP ADAPTOR 232/300 bar CONVERTOR cylinder valve PCP compressor tank

Great adaptor allowing A (international) clamp cylinder systems to be filled from DIN cylinders

The story of this adaptor begins when a friend bought me a self-filling DSMB fitted with an A clamp (international) style "crack bottle" as a present not realising all my equipment is DIN fit. This adaptor allows me to fill the crack bottle from any 230 bar DIN fit cylinder without resorting to a valve plug, simply by screwing the adaptor's DIN fitting into the full cylinder and attaching the A clamp fitting on the crack bottle to the other end - simplicity itself. The scuba diving club I'm with also uses a small portable compressor for use on expeditions to remote dive sites in the UK. As the compressor is fitted with an "A" clamp filling whip this adaptor will now allow us to easily fill DIN fit cylinders directly from the compressor without having to fit and remove a cylinder plug to/from every cylinder we wish to fill. NOTE: This adaptor is NOT suitable for filling cylinders to pressures in excess of 230 bar. Trying to do so could result in serious injury or death

Simple to use and very effective

Bought this item as a gift for a friend to enable her to connect her fairly elderly Suunto Vytec dive computer to a (Windows) lap top/PC to access Suunto's Dive Management (DM) dive planning facilities as well as recording her dives. The cable is very simple to use and worked well with the Suunto DM3 software installed on my PC. Her Vytec computer was instantly recognised by my PC and allowed her full access to all the DM features without any problem. I've not tried it with Suunto's DM5 software yet but expect it will work very well. All in all a simple to use and cost effective interface cable.
