Why I Bought Crown Jewels---Queen
I'm totally devoted to The Beatles; have been for many years and will be until the day I die. However, if there was ever a band that came pretty darn close to stealing my heart the way The Beatles did, it would be Queen! Queen's music is fantastic and cannot be compared to any other band from the 70s or 80s. They were a superb studio band and a fabulous band to see in concert as their concert at Wembley Stadium proves! The British people loved this band and still do to this day! It's a shame that this band didn't receive the fanfare from The United States that they truly deserved! Freddie Mercury is THE MAN when it comes to having a frontman for a band and Brian May is an extraordinary guitarist! Roger Tayor and John Deacon are also outstanding musicians! When four great talents are allowed to join together, the results are amazing! This was true for The Beatles and for Queen as well! Never again will there be such creative forces at their best! Queen truly is a "MIRACLE". This is a great set that any Queen fan needs to have in his/her collection! It's also great for anyone who simply enjoys wonderful music!!

Why I Bought No One Here Gets Out Alive
1 of 1 found this helpful I had this book a few years back and it was accidentally sold in a yard sale. I didn't think much more about my loss until my husband began to show an interest in finding reading material about The Doors. I mentioned this particular book to him and knew we could find it on Ebay without a problem and get it for a good price, which we did. I like this book because it digs a little deeper into the whole Did Jim Morrison Fake His Own Death theory. It leaves you guessing and wondering the big question; What If? All in all, it's a very good and informative book for any Doors fan, any popular culture fan and for people who like to read biographies in general.

Why I Bought The Book Woman by Alan Clayson
I've been wanting to find a book that would allow me to know more about Yoko Ono as an individual and as an artist in her own right, not just as the wife and widow of a Beatle. When I was searching on Ebay for a biography of Yoko, I came across this one and decided to buy it. I hadn't been able to find any in the regular bookstores around town and was happy to find one on Ebay that was available for purchase in the U.S. Meanwhile, my husband has been reading the book before I had a chance to, and every now and then, he will mention a story or two that he's read from the book, so I'm hearing all of these interesting things second-hand. From what he's told me, it seems to be quite informative!
