Macy's Designer Set of 4 Dessert Plates Embellished with 14k Gold 6” NIB

Stunning print, tons of uses, small and sturdy, gold part is fragile and not as shiny

These plates are a bit to the smaller side for serving a full desert plate. The company Marcus Nieman sold a different set of the same kind of plates so I bought them too. I now own 8 combination designed plates. (4 from Macy's and 4 from Marcus Nieman) They are both manufactured by the same company Pia. For a scoop of ice cream or a plate of cookies it's the perfect size. I also have matching coffee cups which I use these under. The plates are sturdy and each have thier own unique design complimenting each others. The contrasting colors are stunning and the gold highlights on each gives it an elegant look. I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of the gold. It is not that shiny, even when new. I'm also afraid that it can scratch off easily cause it's not that well made. They blend in with most tablle decor and are a strikey addition to my holiday or dinner decor. I absolutely loved the print that much that I ordered another 2 sets so I can always have extras stacked away.
