Looks like a brand new cord for my 60 year old machine!
Exactly what I needed. The old power cord for my Singer had frayed and broken, and because of the way the plug was made, there was no way to fix it. Another bonus, the cord is longer than the old one.

Lightweight, for sure.
This is my second DC50. Somehow I missed that I was buying a refurbished machine, and I don't feel that this one works as well to remove dust and dirt as the one I bought new. Also, and this is true of all Dyson uprights: the hose attachment is very difficult to use. The hose isn't very flexible, and I feel like I am wrestling an alligator when I have to use that feature..
