Reed Burke Class Review
This book contains a lot of information about an almost forgotten part of Cuban history. The Mariel Boatlift is one of the biggest mass exodus’s in modern time but yet it slipped through the cracks of history. This book has multiple accounts of people involved in the event along with a personal chapter about the writer who was also involved. If gives insight and personal experience. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about Cuban history. The stories are compelling and paint a picture of how Cuba actually was, not how it was portrayed by the media.
