For any interested in understanding terrorism
I was asked to read this book for a class in countering terrorism. It offers an excellent view into the difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist. This book illustrates that there is indeed a difference. It also gives insight into the Islamic religion, what a jihad is, and how terrorists and fighters use it to justify their actions. The most important part of this book, however could be the cultural insight of the various factions represented in the book.

Monsterously Entertaining
Possibly the most underrated horror movie of all time. The film was intriguing, I wouldn’t call it a great motion picture masterpiece, or a throw away, it was definitely worth the watch. The story puts a spin on the ever classic monster movie, making the humans the bad guys. The originality of the movie doesn’t stop with the story, the characters and underlying themes are also interesting. The movie does have some problems though, despite the beautiful matte paintings, acceptable make up and interesting props, the movie suffers. The acting on a whole (with the exception of David Cronenberg) can be described as over the top or downright silly. Perhaps the biggest flaw with the film is the editing, it feels thrown together and at times pulls the audience out of the story instead of into it. Overall I would recommend Nightbreed. Notwithstanding its flaws it was interesting, entertaining and original. 7/10
