Did not hear what all others are hearing
I purchased this because of all the reviews about a warm and detailed sound. The unit is feather light for any component. It is beautiful and the screen and feel of the knob is excellent. The sound was lacking bass and sharp on the high end. Hooked up to a PM 8006 and Polk R200s. It is not what I expected or was looking for. After some listening time with the Cambridge, I put my Yamaha WXC 50 back into service and I found it more pleasing on all levels, except for no screen or nice feeling knob. The bass was deeper and stronger the highs and mids less sharp. I also tried the AXR 100 from Cambridge and loved its power and dynamics but it also seemed sharp on the mids and highs. Not what I was expecting from Cambridge so both were returned. At the asking price the sound should be instantly better upon hook up.

Sounds Phenomenal
If you love Tesla this is a must have. Needs to be played on an above average system to get the essence of this recording. The radio and music services do not give it justice.

Magic Wand
This is a replacement for the original, although lighter and quieter she says it is as good as the original. After 15 years of use the original still works but is a bit off. Don't hesitate ladies and gents this still brings tears to her eyes for multiple O's.
