basic temp gauge

If you have a real pit type BBQ setup, the threads will not allow you to use even 1/8" thick steel. My pit walls are 1/4" and I had to weld on a piece of pipe with a washer to make it work. Wasn't a big deal for me but was frustrating and not something you would expect. It would work great for a gas grill or charcoal kettle etc.
