Beautiful. Swiss Army reputation. Love it.
This Victorinox Garrison watch is sized properly for if you want a watch that is larger (in diameter) but does not stand from the wrist, I would consider it low-profile to where the casing actually meets your arm. It is a beautiful watch and the glowing numbers and tic marks are awesome to look at - I tested this by shining an LED flashlight at it and it GLOWED IN THE LIGHT (glowed without having to turn the lights off after removing the flashlight)! I got an awesome deal with this auction and would do it all over again. I got the item through normal USPS but had a tracking number to watch it come to me. I am happy. I was going to gift this one to someone, but when poking about their interest, they mentioned that they "Only wear brown/tan wrist bands" well...I can't see giving a watch of this caliber to someone who will place it in a drawer and it live there until some estate sale one day. So, I will be using it in my own collection. It's my 2nd favorite - my 1st favorite is the black rubber strapped Night Vision Victorinox with chronograph - that's for a different review though - I did get it on ebay, so look for it if you're interested...

Beautiful work of timepiece art. Almost the same size as a 42mm Galaxy watch (and similar style) - I have both.
After wearing a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier for 3 years, I upgraded to a Galaxy Watch 42mm Midnight Black smart watch. This watch is extremely close to the same size and truly about the same style. I decided I wanted another watch after almost 4 years of having a smart watch, just because I love watches so much. When I saw this one, not only was it VICTORINOX Swiss Army...but it is just stunning to look at. The flashlight on a standard watch is out of the ordinary and a welcome addition - not sure how much I'll use it, but the thought of it being there is fantastic - another awesome thing is, I can use it ALL I WANT due to it has a separate battery for the lights from the actual timekeeping...meaning if the battery goes out (it will let me know that too!!) my time will still be intact due to it's own battery. The watch is nicer looking in person than what you see in ANY of the pictures...I actually had half a mind while it was in-route to cancel due to buyers remorse over the cost, but looking and seeing that I may have gotten the least expensive one on the internet AND the moment I laid eyes on it, I am sold and it is ready for me for Christmas - my wife took it away from me as soon as I finished inspecting/playing with it - so technically I picked out my own Christmas gift - lol. For this price, I'd do it all over again (I got this New With Tags/box for $189.00 plus tax - that's unheard of if you've ever shopped these on the internet - the tag on it was $795.00 from Victorinox). I. Got. A. Deal. And am very happy - did I mention I'm excited to use it - Now I have to figure out when to wear IT and when to wear my smartwatch...(which the samsung line of smartwatches is also a really nice set up - this is not a replacement - only a special occasion WANT TO WEAR analog).

Would buy him all over again. As promised.
Pros: My new Marine displays very well with the other Marine I already had (also Recon but was the 'redeployed' version). Totally detail oriented which is why I love them. I would buy again.
Con(s): His legs are identical to my other Marine, but while displayed they look like they are just in step with one another - looking close, you can see that it is identical. That's no deal breaker...the faces and what they're doing with their hands are different enough to give the illusion that they are completely different.
