New Battery is Excellent - Tip on removing the old Battery ...
The Replacement battery is excellent and does what it is suppose to do. The only issue you will find is removing the old battery from the unit. Watch the YouTube video. You will need to use a hair dryer to soften the double sided tape while prying the old battery off the motherboard. Pay particular attention to where you poke your flat bladed screwdriver or similar flat blade device to lever the old battery off the board while heating the old tape. Pay particular attention to the gaps between electronic component legs soldered to the board poking through from the other side. Look at the YouTube video to see where the leveraging gaps are so as not to damage the solder points. TAKE YOUR TIME and slowly pry the old battery off the board while heating with the hair dryer. My tip is to hardly use any double sided tape to secure the new battery to avoid future replacement problems with this easy to change battery. Happy battery changing !
