I Wanna Get Funky by Albert King
Albert King is always a treat, he never lets you down. He's the guitarist supreme who schooled fellows like Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughn. But his reputation as a blues guitarist sells him short. He's truly a daring musical adventurer. This CD shows that he knows Funk and Gospel, too. This is a solid outing, for a consummate artist.

A great vintage sound!
1 of 1 found this helpful These are great strings. They give you that warm vintage sound, but they are supple, responsive and easy to fret. Easy on the fingers. They last a very very long time. Years!

Wicked by Shemekia Copeland
I bought this CD out of curiosity, I'd never heard of Shemekia Copeland. What a find! From the first track, she shows that she is the real deal. Backed by a tight band, and supported by excellent production, Shemekia sparkles. She evokes a new generation of (?)Chicago style, never far from her obvious Blues and Gospel roots. Her sound is contemporary but stands on a solid roots foundation. Her voice, its tough, tender, gritty, and most of all sincere. Shemekia has star power.
