Great performing amber warning LEDs

Excellent replacement for 4 foot fluro
These light strips are an excellent replacement for a standard 4 foot fluro tube, provided a 12V dc supply can be made available. Illumination level is equal or better. Advantages are more compact size, no heat, no flicker, and instant start. Very useful where a bright light is required and only 12V is available such as automobile battery powered campers or trailers. I have used this device very successfully in a commercial ice-cream freezer as a replacement for the original 40W fluro that was slow to start and performed poorly due to the low temperature.

Good value
Well priced combination of charger and battery, especially considering free postage on what is a weighty item. Charger output voltage of 14.4 V is accurate, but may be unsuitable for continuous charge / float applications (too high - 13.8 V needed). Easily corrected by inserting a 2A or greater silcon diode in series with one charger lead - this suited my application as I needed the isolation provided by the diode for other reasons. I bought 2 and it has been very suitable for my application - need up to 10 more so will buy the same again.
