panasonic rx-fm30
These little Panasonic have two features,an AM/FM radio and a cassette deck. The deck both plays cassettes and records them from the built in microphones and the radio. It puts out about 4 watts per channel. It also has the Ambience surround feature that is Panasonic's version of a stereo wide. It runs on 6 D size batteries and has a sturdy carry handle.

Def Leppards Songs from the Sparkle Lounge
What can I say, these guys still got it. Songs from the Sparkle Lounge starts off rocking hard with the first 3 songs. Go is the first song and its a hard rocker then Nine Lives and C'mon C'mon continue the momentum. Love is #4 starts off a little sappy but then quickly gets going and is not bad at all for a ballad. Songs 5,6 and 7 pick up the pace and rock nicely. Song #8 entitled Only the Good Die Young is not a cover tune, but an entirely new song and its a good one! Of the last 3 songs, Bad Actress, Come Undone and Gotta Let It Go. Gotta Let It Go is the most rocking but, the others the rock as well. I grew up with these guys and can tell you while this isn't 1981's High n Dry or Pyromania. It is a return to their more hard rocking side. Its sort of a mix between Hysteria and Pyromania. If you like or liked Def Leopard you'll like this album. Check it out you'll be glad you did.

Rough Cutt, remastered CD
What can I say? If you like late 70's and 80's hard rock/heavy metal. You'll like Rough Cutt's second album. This album is a fair bit heavier than their first album and on this remastered CD it sounds better than ever! This album came out in 1984,still in the era of heavy metal before a lot of the glam stuff came out. Two of the heaviest tracks are,# 6) BLACK WIDOW and # 7)YOU KEEP BREAKING MY HEART. These two are worth the price of the disc alone. This group should have gotten a lot more air time. Both on MTV and radio stations. However this was not the case. As during this era there were so many new groups coming out as well as established groups, Rough Cutt kinda just got lost in the mix. The good thing is Rock Candy has seen fit to release this forgotten gem and it a great representation of the metal era. Rough Cutt also has a debut album entitled Rough Cutt wants you and another much more rare album of unreleased stuff. So do yourself a favor and check this on out.
