    SLICK PAPER silicone release paper
    10 February 2019
You Need This If You're Pressing Rosin
If you are having any trouble gathering your rosin after a press, the first thing you need to do is purchase some of this Oil Slick paper. I cut the 10 inch by 10 inch sheets into 4 5 inch by 5 inch squares and use them with 2 inch by 4 inch bags on the 3 inch by 5 inch press plates on my Rosinbomber press. The second thing to do is, after your press, let it cool for a little while. You can lay it on a chilled metal plate if you want, but I think just letting it sit for 30 minutes, or more if needed, your rosin should pop right off this paper. If it tries to smear, let it sit awhile longer. But however you do it, you want to start with a good silicone parchment paper like this one. It's a good product and they are a good company to deal with.
DeWalt FLEXVOLT 60V MAX Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless Reciprocating Saw '
    01 October 2020
    Excellent reciprocating saw
I've been using reciprocating saws since 1973, when I became an apprentice carpenter. I've always owned Milwaukee Sawzalls, but since I decided to go cordless, I've been buying all Dewalt tools. I've been using the Dewalt Flexvolt saw for a few weeks now, and I think it is just as good a saw as the Milwaukee corded saw. Fast and easy to change the blade, and has all the power I need. It's a keeper.
Blazer GT8000 Big Shot Butane Torch Blazer - Green Limited Edition

Top Of The Line Dab Torch
These torches are as good as it gets. Open the valve by turning a little to the left, push the button to ignite, and you have fire. I adjust it down almost as low as it will go for heating the banger on my dab rig. Since you want to heat the quartz bottom from below, the fact these torches work just fine upside down makes them perfect for the job. Very easy to fill, well-known and respected, durable and attractive. I have a red one and now a green one. Now I have my eye on a blue one. Having an assortment if friends come over is not a bad idea.
