Seben 6x30 90° Right-Angled Telescope Finder Scope with crosshairs + bracket FS3

Simple finder for a simple telescope.
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought to replace the finder scope on a used 5" reflector telescope. The OEM scope was a simple 2 lens scope with very poor optics. This scope has better optics, and the Right-Angled eyepiece is a big advantage over the straight through finder scope. The mount is metal and the telescope is metal and plastic. The lens are glass, although there is distortion at the edges. At 6 power it does a passable job as a finder scope.

Inconsistant size.
There does not seem to be a consistent size between 2.1mm and 2.5mm. I get a random size each time I order. But after a couple of orders, I can make them fit.

Simple and functional
In line switch for casual use. Using to switch Christmas lights on (and off) for a couple of weeks a year. Would not recommend for heavy usage, nor continuous high wattage (current).
A fraction of the cost of equivalent switch at even Walmart.
