Kadee 70th Anniversary Car
This HO scale Kadee boxcar is like all HO Kadee boxcars in that it is well made, has great detail, and very good finishes. Since this is the 70th Anniversary car, the finish is not prototypical like most of their boxcars, but it is done well. It has nice, sharp appropriate graphics for its purpose.
Since it is a HO Kadee boxcar, it has Kadee's own high quality metal wheel sets and couplers. Kadee couplers are the de-facto standard for HO scale model railroaders. Other manufacturers copy Kadee coupler features to the extent that they can without infringing on Kadee's patents.
If treated properly like well detailed model railroad rolling stock should be treated, it should run on the rails for a long time.

Sony HDR-PJ540 is a High Quality, Versatile, Full 1080p HD Camcorder.
Sony makes a lot of camcorders and brings out new ones every year. This is a mid-range camcorder when it comes to features and cost for consumer camcorder models.
I chose it because it allows you to use an external microphone. While the built-in microphone is quite good, sometimes an external microphone is handy. While you can playback on the LCD screen, the Projection capability lets you playback in a larger format, which allows better immediate feedback. It can download via Wi-Fi, something I consider a must feature, to a desktop computer which I have done as that is where I do intensive movie editing. It works well in doing the Wi-Fi downloading. This camcorder has full 1080p HD, which is an upgrade from my previous 720p HD camcorder and another reason why I bought this model. It also has a 46mm screw mount at the front of the camera. I have placed a UV filter on it to further protect the lens, but this camcorder can accept other filters and screw on lenses, e. g., wide angle, as well because of the screw mount. The supplied NP-FV50 battery lasts 30-40 min fully charged. It will work with bigger batteries like the NP-FV100, which is what I use. Make sure you have fully charged batteries when doing Wi-Fi downloads as it can take awhile (not necessarily the camcorder's fault as the Wi-Fi network does matter) and battery failure during a download means download failure.
Overall, I have been very pleased with the quality of the video picture and sound. I am very glad that I selected this high quality mid-range Sony Camcorder.

Perfect Replacement Cap and Hinger Strap
I had a GI plastic canteen that was 30 years old if it was a day. The hinge strap to hold the cap to the canteen had busted in half a long time back. I was filling it with water after not using it for like 15 years, and the cap disintegrated in my hands. I needed a new cap and hinge strap. I ordered these, and they came quickly already attached as shown in the picture. They appeared to be new as stated in the listing. I slipped the hinge strap onto the canteen, and it fit like it was suppose to fit - tight so it stays in the groove on the canteen and loose so it twists around the canteen itself. The cap screwed on just like it was suppose to screw on. It forms a tight seal.
All in all, this was an economical quality way to put a good plastic canteen back in service.
