Saber Marionette J
The dvd itself is a wonderful item to have and I would like to add well worth finding. It is one of a 3 from the Saber Marionette J collection. The dvd comes in a case with 2 discs. Welcome to the world of Tera II where it is a planet entirely of men. This anime is set in Terra II, a planet far from Earth. 300 years before the beginning of the story, the human colony ship from earth the Mesopotamia suffered a major disaster which killed almost everyone on board. Six men escaped using an emergency pod and managed to land on the surface of the planet. With no means to return or contact Earth, they decided to colonize the planet, seeing as there were no women on Tera II they genetically modified clones of themselves. Unfortunately their technology could not create a living human female. This being such a hardship they then created Saber Marionettes. Life like androids that seemed to be without personalities of their own... save for the ones that possessed the special Maiden circuits. The main character of the story is Otaru Mamiya, a regular boy from the country of Japoness whose life is changed by finding Lime (and eventually Cherry and Bloodberry(Barbilly)). The three of them are radically different from regular marionettes in that they have that special Maiden circuit that allows them too act on their own free will and allow them to have their own full personalities. The three of them also become quite infatuated with Otaru and constantly compete for his affection , giving some trouble to the boy who doesn't really know what to do with three so unusual marionettes. If this in itself was not bad enough for poor Otaru he also has a very annoying determined seeker of his affection as well by the name of Mitsurugi Hanagata who is not only spoiled but is also rich enough to both irritate Otaru as well as use this to try and show off. Now add a mad power hungry tyrant bent on world domination who has his own Saber Marionettes with their own maiden circuits and you have the plot for a really good story. I have to say this is one of the few animes that is well worth buying because it is not only having endearing characters but unexpected twists along the way. Action...Adventure...Sadness...Comedy...All rolled into one great Anime.

Chaos Wars (PlayStation 2, 2008)
Chaos Wars for the playstation 2. This game is perhaps one of the most least known in the rpg gaming world for the Playstation 2. The artwork for this game is nothing short of amazing as well as the animation. Though unfortunately those are the only finer points in this game. The voice acting is terrible and so obvious that it was done without any passion for the roles. Seriously when I listened to the voice acting I was brought to think of people standing there reading or smoking while saying the lines. As if they had nothing better to do. The battle system is by far one of the worst I have seen in all my years of game reviewing. I will give props to the storyline which had such potential but the bad voice acting and the poor battle system lost it for me. In addition when I had toggled the language from Japanese to English in the battles the language switched to Japanese though remained English in the regular conversations. All in all I have to give this game two thumbs... Two thumbs DOWN. If you want to waste your time and money then this is the game for you. ~Ranchangene~

Pokemon Diamond version (Nintendo DS, 2007)
The first DS chapter of the continuing saga of Nintendo's "collect 'em all" RPG series. Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl offer a number of exciting new features to please both experienced and new Pokemon fans alike. Set in an entirely new region called "Sinnoh," players can choose to begin their adventure as either a boy or girl Pokemon trainer on a path to becoming Pokemon League Champion. The adventure continues as players can bring Pokemon from their Game Boy Advance Pokemon games to Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl using the GBA game slot on their Nintendo DS. As players trade and collect Pokemon to complete their Pokedex in this new challenge, for the first time they'll have the chance to catch new Pokemon, Munchlax and Weavile. They also can play via local wireless with up to eight other trainers while new moves and abilities deepen strategy.
