Value for money
Good quality power board and reasonably priced. The extra width between outlets to allow for power packs is very useful.

Reliable, affordable laptop
The Lenovo Ideapad 100 has received some mixed reviews. I bought mine at a great price and felt it provided all I needed for my computing needs. I have not been disappointed. The Ideapad 100 is an efficient laptop with a generous wide screen and easy to use keyboard. The 2.1ghz processor adequately does the job I require and the 2.8ghz turbo boost is even more than my son's gaming laptop has! I use my laptop for surfing the net, writing and digital design. It has met my expectations in all these areas. I read a few reviews where customers complained of the trackpad etc heating up from prolonged use. I have had absolutely no problems with overheating at any stage. The Ideapad 100 uses 'heatsink' technology, which does not require a fan. I was a bit nervous about this at first but have found the laptop has not heated up at all, whereas fan driven laptops I have owned have overheated and died. To sum up, if you want a powerful gaming laptop, this may not be the one for you, but if you want a solid, reliable laptop that more than adequately covers most computing needs, I can thoroughly recommend the Lenovo Ideapad 100.
