About

I worked on computers thirty years ago, and then pursued other interests for a couple of decades, before returning to computers as a hobby. I can't keep 'em all, so I will start selling 'em, so I can build more... I hope you like 'em as much as I do!

A very good retro gaming motherboard.
Within it's well-known limitations, this is an excellent reto-gaming motherboard. The Intel 815E chipset is the Cadillac of retro-gaming chipsets: comfortable, capable, and reliable... but not one for hopping-up. It only supports 512mb of RAM, and the BIOS often won't see hard drives bigger than 40gb... but neither are serious limitations for a Win98SE retro-gaming comp. It DOES support 133mhz FSB CPUs (seriously, you aren't using a Celery, right?) and PC133 RAM. Add a Pentium III CPU, and you have the foundation for a solid retro-gaming computer.

No 3Dfx collection is complete without one.
To own a Voodoo4 4500 AGP graphics card is to own a piece of gaming history. It's image quality is stunning! The Voodoo3 3000 is all you need for casual retro-gaming, but if you can find a good deal on a Voodoo4, you shouldn't pass it up... and if your a collector, your collection isn't complete until you get one. Of course, the Voodoo5 5500 pwns it, but it's literally twice the card... and usually at least twice the money! I would recommend this card to the serious retro-gamer who already has a Voodoo3, or a couple of Voodoo2's, and/or a Banshee... etc...

Not just a great Game Boy game, simply a great game!
This is one of those GBA games that looks (and plays) great on the Gamecube's Game Boy adapter. Mine is connected to a Commodre monitor, and this game looks great on it! The gameplay is probably in between the SNES version and the N64 version. If you like the Mario Karts series, this is a must have for your collection. If you like racing games and haven't tried any Mario Kart games, stop reading this and get one immediately!
