A good game to rent, not own.
I have really enjoyed the Call of Duty series of games. I was a little disappointed in this game though. I realyl enjoyed MW2 and was expecting another great game with a good story to follow. The gameplay it self was a little upgraded from MW2, but nothing spectacular. The variety of weapons was less enjoyable for me and the storyline was not very good. I felt like I knew what the ending would be before halfway through the game. The online multiplayer is great, just like MW2. I really just didn't get into the added game modes. I went back to MW2 and enjoyed it better than Black Ops. Its still worth the time and money just to play through the game and enjoy it. But I wont be keeping it.

Great addition to Halo 3!
1 of 1 found this helpful Halo 3: ODST is a great addition to Halo 3. The story is great and well thought out. For followers of the Halo universe, you will find this game answers questions left from the gap between Halo 2 and Halo 3. However, as with the rest of the Halo series games from Bungie, there are always more questions left. For newcomers to Halo, this is a great game. The story is a little short (as this game was originally intended as a short interlude and not a full game). However, the firefight gameplay will leave you with hours of entertainment! The second disk, Halo 3 Mythic, opens up all of the maps and forge options from Halo 3 plus the downloadable content available from xBox Live. On a side note, this game is great by itself, but if you really plan of getting some long hours from the game, buying a subscription to xBox Live is a MUST!!! This game is based around its multiplayer capabilities. If you never play this game on xBox Live you will be missing about 60% of the fun the game has to offer! A side note on xBox Live, buy a game card! You can get them from anywhere, and its much cheaper to buy a game card (~$5 a month) than it is to use a credit card through your xBox 360 (~$8 a month).
