Good cordless if bought at a discount
11 of 11 found this helpful I purchased this item when it was discounted. I would never pay fully price for one of these dysons. It performs well, has two speeds. The normal speed is alright but doesn’t pick up nearly as well as the high speed. I haven’t ran into the battery life issue yet that most reviews talk about. I feel if you are using this as your main vacuum you are coming up short in many ways. It works great for cleaning up quickly but for deeper cleanings you need a full size corded vacuum. You can tell if you put it on carpet the suction suffers. I use it around the house on vinyl flooring and the normal speed is ok but I generally use high speed to pick up messes. The attachments are good, however, when you have the small extension wand hooked up with the longer shaft, the entire vacuum wiggles. It’s as if the connections are strong enough and you get the mop handle effect where it sags.
