Mysterious connection drops couldn't be fixed
3 of 6 found this helpful First, I had trouble getting it to work because it was already registered to another user and I had to go through a few levels of ISP tech support just to fix that. After that, the product worked well for a few weeks. Then it started dropping my connection at an accelerating rate, to the point of being completely unusable. ISP and Motorola support couldn't help. Now I keep it around as a reminder to never buy used modems.
