For anyone in need of support, inspiration, wisdom, and healing
This book is a wonderful book for anyone wishing to let go of pain, learn detachment, learn better communication, heal in any way, emotionally, physically, spiritually, psychologically. It inspires and encourages and offers wisdom and guidance for these times when so many of us have lost connection to ourselves.
The Language of Letting Go is a perennial seller with millions and millions of copies sold for good reason. It helps. It is a daily reader that I have benefited from immensely.

Wonderful Vegan Cookbook for anyone, Very politically ethically preachy.
Vegan Vittles is a 5 star cookbook. The preachiness I didn't ask for would lower the rating, but it doesn't affect the excellent recipes.
Wonderful recipes for anyone wanting to cook delicious food in vegan cuisine. The ingredients are common and easy to find and the recipes turn out delicious. There are main dishes side dishes, wonderful soups and sandwiches and many substantial recipes. BBQ tempeh sandwiches, wonderful cheeze recipes that I am so happy to find as commercial vegan cheese is usually gross. The parmesan and the melty one are fabulous. Really great recipes.
The preachy tone is heavy and political and religious in fervor. I am not interested in this part of the book but I'm finding many vegans who are very political, and the recipes are excellent. As a cookbook, I highly recommend this book for tasty, healthy, varied, vegan recipes.

A deep look at himself, a powerful book from a father
1 of 1 found this helpful This book is so honest and reading it gave me insight into an introverted, unsocial, personality with buried emotions. With loners like George Sandoni making the news by killing people, or Cho the Virginia Tech shooter, and Jeffrey Dahmer, what they have in common is the lack of emotional connection to others, and this will make a person mentally sick and fills them with toxic energy. There is a saying from the book of Proverbs, "The one isolating himself will seek his own selfish longing." Nothing proves this adage more than the repeated cases of emotionally isolated killers.
I'm glad I read Mr. Dahmer's book and can now relate to this type of personality. It is very insightful to anyone who tried to understand people, as well as a testament of insightful humility from Mr. Lionel Dahmer.
