more difficult setup than newer netgear products (old version of "GENIE")
When setting up as a modem only (no router features--you have separate and discrete router.)
It is a little more difficult to setup because the older version of the "GENIE" software built into the modem is a little less clear. If you are setting up as a modem only, make this selection (near the bottom) FIRST THING and then all the stuff you don't need is "greyed out"--making it much easier.

AW-45 & nice to know
2 of 2 found this helpful Excellent quality. AW-45 is lower part of a mechanical wick; AW-40 is the top part only; AW-49 is both top and bottom. AW-45, as the bottom only, appears to be no longer available from wick manufacturers. Grab them if you can find them!

American Wick Brand (made in England by Hattersley)
These are the "Cadillac" of wicks....the best quality. Some of the wicks produced in the country of Chile are nearly as good. Most wicks made elsewhere are not very good with the poorest quality wicks being made in China.
