Faithful representation of a famous 50s Soviet jet airliner.
Well engineered model of a Russian TU-104 jet airliner. Easy build nice size and faithfully represents the real airplane especially coming from a time when access to Soviet equipment of any kind was almost non-existent.

Lindberg F-100 Super Sabre USAF Thunderbird edition: "modeling history"
this is a very old model kit first released in the 1950s. one of the better Lindberg kits it actually represents a very early YF-100 prototype of the Super Sabre. the kit includes a nice looking seat, moveable controls and a pretty good looking engine for this time period. by today's standards the details would be considered inaccurate but, there in lays the charm, it is fun and easy to assemble and looks pretty nice when done. i wanted this kit for what it is; a part of modeling history.

AMT Lockheed Vega Floatplane simple no frills but fun.
Just to qualify, my rating is relative to what you are looking for. A highly detailer replica of a Lockheed Vega it is not. When these kits came out in the 70s they sold for 1.50 even then that was cheep and for that money with a little effort and a nice paint job you got a sharp looking model of a Vega on floats something no other model company offered. I purchased this kit when it first came out and built and presented it to my Dad. For that reason I sought it out again these many years later to build again in his memory. It is a very simple kit with no frills but as previously stated when finished it makes a very sharp model of a unique version of this famous airplane.
