AUTOart modelling at its finest.
I purchased the Subaru BRZ to pair with an orange Toyota GT86, also by AutoArt. These are two superb 1:18 replicas of the two cars.
What really impresses is that AutoArt have gone to the trouble of using two different castings as the front ends vary between the two cars. Interior details also vary in all the correct ways too.
These models are not toys and require careful, adult, handling as there are several fine external details (badging and the like) which are too delicate to handle.

A good replica
As the owner of a 2015 Volvo XC60, this is an obvious addition to my collection of 1:18 scale cars. Whilst not of the quality of a Minichamps or Autoart model, this is a fair substitute.
The Motorcity model is let down by previous model XC60 wheels and tyres, which at 1:18 scale should have side wall detail and a more defined tread pattern. I was also disappointed by the paint finish which is not blemish free.
On the other hand the interior, under bonnet and chassis detailing is superb. I particularly like the folding door mirrors and inside the seat belts.
For those interested in such details this is a T6 - six cylinder petrol model, an incredibly rare car here in the UK!

TAKES ME BACK TO 1ST AUGUST 1983!
On 1st August, 1983, I collected my veryy first new car - a black Fiesta XR2, complete with the moon-roof option.
This car is a very well detailed replica of my car, right down to the XR2 decals on the side. The pepperpot alloy wheels are particularly well replicated and I was delighted to find this right hand drive model available when most had the steering wheel on the left.
The Vanguard models are particularly well packaged and come ready presented in their own display case.
Were it possible I would collect models of this scale and quality of all of my cars, cars from this era - the 1980's - had far more character, and individual style, than their counterparts today!
