Still accurate after all these years.
This book lays to rest some of the things Americans are still arguing about. Holmes could take very complicate ideas, make the clear to any reader, and still be accurate. That requires a really smart person. Who knew an American Supreme Court Justice was just a regular guy with an understanding of how the law works, and explain it to those of us without a law degree.

I reread this book every decade or so. It never gets old, new things keep coming to the fore.
This book has humor, but it also deals with things that we all have to deal with. No matter what century we are in, Dogs are man's best friend and we should trust them. Ok that is just a tiny point but it runs through the thinking of all the characters. Cats have a point too. It is a great book and in good condition.

Ghost Riders is about the people in the South today and during the Civil War. It is a fascinating look at how people cope .
The cassettes and sleeve are the best used audiobook I have ever bought.
