Secure phone holder for bicycles

Protects you, but not the quadcopter

I bought these prop guards after I nicked my forearm with the spinning blades of the DJI Phantom 2 Vision Plus. Pluses: + The red and white colors help emphasize the orientation of the quadcopter when it is flying at a distance + The guards are detachable, which makes transportation of the quadcopter easier. + The guards emphasize the need to keep fingers and arms away from the spinning blades. Minuses: - Installation of the guards requires removal of the motor mounting hardware. When installing the prop guard mounts, the motors must be positioned very carefully so that they do not rub against the skin of the quadcopter. If they rub, the motors will perform poorly, and the quadcopter skin will melt. - The prop guards are light weight plastic. They do not survive bad landings, or collisions with trees. - The prop guards reduce the flight duration a little bit, and may add a little wobble during descent. These guards are a useful addition for novice fliers.
